If you're experiencing slow performance or the app is not responding, this is typically due to a connection problem between your device and GUC's website. Here are some steps to resolve this:
- Check your internet connection and ensure it's stable
- Try switching between WiFi and mobile data
- Close and restart the app
- Ensure you're connected to a reliable network
- The issue might be temporary - try again after a few minutes
Note: Since myGUC connects directly to GUC's servers, any slowness in GUC's official systems will affect the app's performance.

Absolutely! myGUC is built with a privacy-first approach:
- Your academic data, username, and password are stored locally on your device only and never sent to our servers
- Your grades, transcripts, attendance, and login credentials remain under your complete control
- The app connects directly to GUC's systems from your device—no intermediary servers
- No third-party tracking or analytics are used
What We Collect: Starting from version 1.0.2, myGUC collects only three pieces of information and stores them on our servers: Your Full Name, Student ID, and Major. This is for a future feature. We do not have access to any of your academic records, grades, or login credentials.
For detailed information, please check our Privacy Policy.
myGUC can show cached data stored on your device when you're offline, including:
- Previously loaded grades and transcripts
- Course schedules you've viewed before
- Attendance records
- Exam schedules
- Financial information
However, to access new information, refresh data, or receive notifications, you'll need an active internet connection. All this data is stored locally on your device only—we don't have access to it.
If you're having trouble logging in, try these solutions:
- Double-check your GUC username and password
- Ensure you're using the same credentials that work on GUC's official website
- Check if GUC's portal is accessible through your web browser
- Verify your internet connection is stable
- Try clearing the app's cache or reinstalling the app
Remember: myGUC uses the same login system as GUC's official portal.
